MH370
Looking high and looking low. Searching for MH370...
I am often painting into the night and early morning, sipping tea and listening to music or the BBC broadcasts. I remember when the MH370 jumbo jet went missing and the newscasters were showing increasing perplexity and agitation. How does a long haul airplane disappear?
This mystery is still unanswered today a decade later. These two paintings attempt to visualize several early explanations for the aircraft eluding radar; the jet flew at ceiling max -or- the pilots flew extremely LOW to evade detection. These paintings seem a little morbid but my illustration jonze kicked in and I wanted to visually describe the mysterious circumstances.
