Bad Bunny is my current muse and latest effort.

Figurative studies were my base camp as a young artist. Hundreds of hours of anatomy and life drawing sessions consumed my days and nights.

I treat the canvas as a mirror. My subjects are rendered life size. I want you to be in proximity and close enough to catch a scent. We are mammals nonetheless, even as we fetishize the current epic digital era.

This is my personal meditation - to see every human as a majestic being. Fragile soft tissues and kaleidoscopic mental faculties combined… all degrading in time.

These artworks are painted collages. I work from lost and found photographs and utilize hand/eye method for observation. It def would be more efficient to use a projector, but that would reduce critical effort and gravitas. I take the long road - and I believe the results are compelling.
